This weekend we visit some marinas to get an idea of a suitable place for a berth in the winter. We already know the Veerhaven in Rotterdam, definitely a beautiful place for a winter berth. We are positively surprised by Dordrecht. There is a very attractive and well closed marina in the historic centre of Dordrecht with more people living aboard in the winter. That's also what Jolanda told us 😉. We also look in Rhoon and in the City Marina of Rotterdam. These two don't appeal to us.

We immediately submit an application for a winter berth for the coming winter of 2020/2021. We immediately receive a positive answer from the harbour master the next day. I can already picture us being there next winter during the Christmas season 😁🎄👍.
