Pentecost with Canadian family

We spend most of the Whitsun weekend on the SeaQuest. On Saturday just the four of us. We sail on the Grevelingen just past Ouddorp and drop anchor in a nice quiet spot where we are all alone with a view of the lighthouse of Ouddorp. The weather is lovely and warm, so hot that we even go swimming in the afternoon to cool off.
In between the girls do their homework and in the evening we eat from the BBQ. We also watch the women's World Cup hockey game; we also have that luxury.
Weekends like this on the boat are wonderful with the family close together. While enjoying the music of Blöf 'In the middle of everything' we watch the sun go down and see the light of the lighthouse in front of us.

The next day we pick up Terry and Lynne in Ouddorp. They are staying there with Teun at the sister's.
from Teun. They are going for a day and again it is very sunny and warm, only not so much wind. We float quietly to an anchorage and chat. Later in the afternoon we sail back to Bru and Toine takes them by car back to Ouddorp. We end the weekend with dinner at the Friends of Bru. And then back home again because Eline has a hockey tournament on Whit Monday. And also that goes on of course.
